Old yoga mats can also be cut into mouse pads garden kneeling pads coasters and trivets. You can also suggest a charity to add to their list. You can fill out their mat donor form for any gently used mat or prop you want to donate and yogi activist will coordinate your donation with their supported outreach programs. We will only donate to organizations that lack funds to purchase mats and provide ongoing programs where mats are used by multiple people rather than a short term programs or a single user.

Do you have yoga mats that are in reasonably good condition that you no longer need. We also donate mats to schools we work with. Make mats from all natural rubber. Even if you don t attend classes at a local studio chances are you d be able to drop off your yoga items there.

There are other ways to re purpose your used yoga mats such as finding other uses for them. We donate new and used yoga mats to students that want to continue their practise once a class has ended. Cut the mat into bases and use them for children s baseball games or take the mat to your children s baseball games and sit on top of it when you are in the bleachers.
